Volunteers and Tennis Fans from 5 AM Tennis Club at Vedansh International School (VIS), Chota Bagarda, Aerodrum Thana Road, Indore have planned to promote sports (Tennis to begin with) in this new year (Starting 01.01.2025) and members of HindiDiscussionForum.com (HDF) are more than happy to partner with them in this journey.
The idea is to promote Tennis at the local level, with an eye on achieving long term targets of attaining results of international standards, which we Indians are truly capable of...
This process would involve the following steps:
1. Tracing and recognizing talented Tennis players and athletes at a young age;
2. Nourishing them with comprehensive Tennis training, including but not limited to, physical training and coaching, mental and moral boosting support and spiritual and philosophical guidance, as and when required;
3. Financial assistance (as a Backup in case of an emergency situation) for the needy and/or deserved talented players, as and when required.
To commence this journey, the forum plans to get started in this very new year, which in fact is just a couple of days away from the time of publication of this post. The idea is to get things started with monthly Tennis tournaments at the local level and take things as they come.
The forum proposes Single Day Cash Fun Tennis Tournament which will have following features:
* Participants from all age groups - anyone can play anyone in a random draw.
* Singles/Doubles/Mixed Doubles category.
* Small Cash prize for the Winners/RU/SF/QF.
* Goodies for every participants from the sponsors.
* Negligible entry fee for the players (this can be even Free for the first tournament)
* Friendly matches, short versions - 11 points/ 15 points knockouts.
* Single Day Tournament.
* from 5 AM to 9 PM (thanks to the flood lights)
* Every First Sunday of the new Month, starting January 2025.
* Improvising and willingness to improve as a player and human being
The idea of playing anyone with anyone with no age bar, or even gender for that matter, is that players with get to know each other on a friendly basis and they can surely learn from each other. The young players can learn techniques, strategy and life lessons from the Seniors and Super Seniors, while the senior players can enjoy the energy level and sheer power game and enthusiasm from the young blood.
The sponsors too, are expected from the super senior group, which mostly consists of retired and ahem, wealthy kinda community.
This however should not discourage the young age group players, who are as welcomed to contribute for this cause as anyone else. 
This idea is under pipeline and can only become success in a long run with the help of every sports and Tennis fan. The first tournament is presently scheduled on 31st December 2024, but this date is not yet official and final and as it is likely to conflict with the new year eve,
the forum proposes to shift it as per above plan - i.e. First Sunday of January 2025 ( 05.01.2025, Sunday) and then every first Sunday of the following months from thereon.
